Hint - Jug

Weird kind of keychain for that key in the bottom of the jug (vase? Thermos?). Who would attach a ping pong (ok, "table tennis") ball to a key? Only a madman. A lunatic. Or a fiendish escape room designer. Why a ping pong (I mean "table tennis!") ball? How might that help in getting the key out? Can you grab it? With a straw or vacuum? Do you have a straw or vacuum? No?? You were not a Boy Scout, were you?

What else might be significant out the ping pong table tennis (finally got it, right?) ball? If only you had enough liquid you could float it out. Maybe you'll get lucky and it will rain. Otherwise....? Given the extremely high quality and integrity of this room you can rest assured that if the key is to be floated out that you will find sufficient liquid (probably water; unlikely chocolate milkshakes) to get it floated out without any difficulty or struggle or fuss or muss.
